Don't you dare let his daughters confiscate those binoculars, Tod, or I'll have a tizzy fit (smile). This is great, and I love the post script, that it was kind of impromptu. Sometimes you just have to go where the muse sends you. But the other thing here is that this contrasting story is set in a more contemporary era, and with most of the population approaching senior or elderly status, it's one of those stories we can really relate to. I wonder what's in store for Louis, here, or if he runs away from home -- so to speak -- and has some kind of quest/adventure of his own.....hmmm......
Alas no. But about thirty years ago I looked through a pair in a store, and life hasn't been the same since. I've just had to appreciate nature the best I can, with what I have.

hmmm, indeed.
I haven't heard of a tizzy fit, but sounds similar to a hissy fit.
You got it!
WOW
You've been a busy man.
I hope Louis packs his binoculars!
I'm pretty sure he will.
Goodmorning tod
I'm ready for chapter 2
sound like trouble on the horizon....
Morning Pablo. Are you staying warm ?
Right, what kind of trouble will it be? The interesting kind, I hope.
doing well.. warm and dry. lots of snow which i love. slowly working on trim and such. I need to catch up on my reading... how are things with you?
Those daughters should mind their own business. All Louis does is use his Swarovskis to get a finer appreciation of the beauties of nature.
You wouldn't have any Swarovskis, would you, Tod? (I may have asked this question some way back).
